Areas of focus can be marked using privacy masking to capture movement in areas such as doorways and entrances for a focused security solution.
Wide Dynamic range adjusts the camera to capture the best possible image during difficult lighting conditions, with a built-in infrared-cut filter to switch from full color to monochrome video, providing constant surveillance when used with an infrared light source (sold separately).
The SNC-ER550 has an SD card slot built in, providing a more localized recording solution and a useful backup recording solution in the event of network failure. Power over Ethernet compatibility allows the camera to receive power and network connectivity using a single cat5 cable, saving on wiring and installation.
